Remembering Ted

I did not know Ted well. I am the secretary for the Student Funding Committee for Classis Alberta North. Our classis gave Ted financial support for his tenure at Calvin Theological Seminary. I recall Ted as someone who struck every member of our committee as someone who truly was called by the Lord to serve him in ministry. I recall with pride, interacting with Ted in his applications and the unfettered gratitude which he showed for the financial support he received and his love of his studies and the work he was embarking on. I and the other members of my committee were always very much impressed with Ted and his interaction with us. I had high expectations for him and he exceeded those. He presented himself as confident and calm in seeking out the will of our Lord and Saviour in his career. I am saddened at his sudden passing but am assured, as others are, that he is resting with our Lord and Saviour. I consider it a blessing to have been able to assist him in his studies as part of the committee that I served on. I wish God's blessing on his family and friends as they now continue life without Ted.
